Join the tenant movement that’s keeping rent stabilization on top of the agenda. Testify about why you stand for rent stabilization.

After hundreds of tenants turned out to testify before the Mayor and City Council in July, Mayor Ashton and all Councilmembers except Councilmembers Shaw and Myles voted to end discussion about rent stabilization and focus on other housing issues through the fall. They may be done talking about it, but Rockville renters continue to suffer the consequences of the Mayor and Council’s inaction on passing fundamental protection for renters that ensure we have stability, predictability and can remain in our homes.

Speak out at the Community Forum session starting at 6:50pm at these meetings of the City Council. Each meeting will also speak to a different housing theme.

October 21 @ 6:30pm: Subsidy

November 18 @ 6:30pm: Stabilization (without rent stabilization)

Sign up in advance to speak by emailing cityclerk@rockvillemd.gov, or just sign up to speak when you arrive. Learn more about how to testify:
